About DJ Always
As long as I can remember, I’ve had a passion and love for the arts.
I was introduced to the art of drawing and painting at King Elementary. It was around this same time I was shown art in diverse forms like music and dance at the Parkland Drum Corps (River City Drum Corps). It was opportunities like this, granted by my community, where I learned my passion.
This growing passion sparked a fire within that could only be tamed by giving back what I was given. I have taught jewelry classes, drumming, and drum making. Not only do I know the importance of giving back, I also am blessed to use my craft in an entrepreneurial capacity.
Through the years I have crafted woven masterpieces worn globally; hand painted and designed shirts; and created multimedia promotions for several clients.
My moniker “Love Always” shows my love for the arts and grants me opportunity to weave all of my passions into one fluid tapestry combining music, fashion, and craftsmanship. I want to continue being an example for the youth in West Louisville by showing them there is not only value in their creativity, ideas, and work; but it is necessary.
