Y’all! We’re on a mission to help Andy raise some money for his Team Kentucky fund which provides assistance to Kentuckians who have been severely financially impacted by the COVID-19 emergency. We’ve partnered with The Team Kentucky Fund and have recruited four of our favorite artists/designers from around the Commonwealth to whip us up some kick-ass Team Kentucky t-shirts. Those t-shirts are now for sale at kyforky.com and 100% of the net proceeds are going to The Team Kentucky Fund. Designs by Ciara LeRoy, Robby Davis, Austin Dunbar, and Adam Moore. Check out the collection of bad-ass Team Kentucky tees below and get to know some of your new favorite Kentucky creatives.
Ciara LeRoy a.k.a Pretty Strange, is a native Ohioan but has lived in Lexington, Kentucky for over a decade. She works as an independent artist specializing in hand lettering, illustration and embroidery. In 2017, she started her creative firm Pretty Strange Design, with a mission to make bold, beautiful, and offbeat creations that inject imagination into everyday life.
Her goal is to make work that is well-crafted and aesthetically pleasing, but also deeply thoughtful and socially conscious. She is passionate about connecting art with community development and using creativity to build bridges and explore deeper questions.
Robby is an artist, designer, and illustrator from Louisville, KY who believes in taking pride in your craft. Whether it's applying brush strokes or pushing pixels, the goal is the same – stay inspired, get better, and have fun. For the better part of the last decade, his work has been split between UI/UX design work at his day job and illustration and branding work for freelance clients. He has a love for both disciplines and, for him, they very much inspire one another.
Austin Dunbar is the founder of Durham Brand & Co. - a hand in hand brand building design studio in Covington, KY specializing in brand, pack, and video. Since opening its doors in 2014, the studio has crafted unfiltered, top-notch creative work for national corporations to local champions including Adobe, Bud Light, Braxton Brewing Co, Fat Tire, New Riff Distilling, Old Spice and more. The studio's work has been featured on The Dieline, Draft Magazine, Gear Patrol, Print, Uncrate, Vogue and others.
