Part-Time Retail Associate

Kentucky for Kentucky is seeking to hire a part-time retail associate to join our kick-ass team!

The right candidate is enthusiastic and passionate about showing the world all that Kentucky has to offer! We are looking for someone who is excited to join us in celebrating Kentucky’s awesomeness!

Job responsibilities:

• Be passionate about Kentucky people, places, and products
• Greet and assist all shoppers with the best possible service
• Execute list of daily tasks (provided by BOH staff) to assist in keeping the store operational (including but not limited to: restocking store shelves, managing inventory, and cleaning duties)
• Enthusiastically engage with customers to help answer questions, drive sales, and add to the store’s customer experience
• Answer the phone to assist customers, as well as take messages for BOH full-time staff
• Stay knowledgeable and informed on KY for KY products
• Work off-site events as needed
• Assist in production work when necessary, including but not limited to product finishing and inventory cycle counts

Requirements:

• Physical requirements include: being able to stand for long periods of time, able to lift 25 lbs, able to bend, squat, and reach without issue
• Availability to work retail schedule, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays 
• Thrives in a fast paced environment
• Effective communicator
• Reliable transportation 
• Experience in retail or customer service preferred
