Part-Time Retail Associate

KY for KY is seeking to hire a part-time retail associate to join our kick-ass team!

The right candidate is enthusiastic, and passionate about showing the world all that Kentucky has to offer! We are looking for someone who is excited to join us in celebrating Kentucky’s awesomeness!

Job responsibilities:

• Be passionate about Kentucky people, places, and products.
• Greet and assist all shoppers with the best possible service.
• Execute list of daily tasks to assist in keeping the Fun Mall operational (including but not limited to: restocking store shelves and cleaning duties).
• Enthusiastically engage with customers to help answer questions, drive sales, and add to the Fun Mall customer experience.
• Answer the phone to assist customers, as well as take messages for BOH full-time staff.
• Stay knowledgeable and informed on KY for KY products and promos.
  Assist in BOH with shipping, counting inventory, and product embellishments (i.e., packaging socks).
• Occasionally work off-site events as needed, which includes event prep, selling our gear during the event, and breakdown. 

Requirements:

• Physical requirements include: being able to stand for long periods of time, able to lift 25 lbs, able to bend, squat, and reach without issue.
• Availability to work retail schedule, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. More hours will be available during the holiday season but will drop off at the start of the year.
• Effective communicator
• Experience in retail or customer service preferred
