History has been made, y'all! More than 1,000 kick-ass Kentuckians came out to tube the mighty Elkhorn Creek this past Saturday during Kentucky for Kentucky's first ever Totally Tubular Tube-A-Thon at Still Waters Campground! It was a beautiful day of tubing (well, except for that pop-up storm that rolled in late afternoon. But what a sky after, am I right?)
Big thanks to Ryan Morris for the kick-ass photography! Check out his event photos above, and also check out our gallery on Facebook. Be sure to like and share!
Big thanks also to the all the volunteers who came out and helped out — y'all kick ass! Big thanks to the Strohmeir family for hosting the event and shuttling everyone back and forth. Big thanks to Ale-8-One for the refreshments, Cricket Press for the poster and shirts, to DJ Albert Shumake for spinning the tunes, and to Boo Boo Smoke Shack, Taqueria Los Nietos and Sav's Chill Gourmet Ice Cream for rolling out with the delicious grub! And big thanks to the Lexington Herald-Leader for coming out to cover the event! Check out the article here.
And super-big thanks to everyone who came out — hope y'all had a kick-ass time! See ya next year.
