Partnering with a Kick-Ass Kentuckian: Wylie Caudill x KY for KY
At KY for KY, we’re all about celebrating the weird, the wonderful, and the unapologetically Kentucky—and that’s why we’re beyond hyped to drop this year’s limited-edition Pride tee, created in collaboration with one of our favorite hometown artists: Wylie Caudill.
If you’ve been anywhere near Lexington lately, you’ve probably seen Wylie’s work—even if you didn’t know it was his. His mural art is splashed across downtown walls and bourbon bars, blending bold colors, affirming messages, and Southern charm in a way that’s 100% his own. (Seriously, check out his work here—you’ll fall in love.)
So when we decided to do something special for Pride, we knew exactly who to call.
🎨 The Tee:
Wylie dreamed up a design that’s as Kentucky as it is queer: Mary Todd Lincoln (a Lexington native, y’all) riding a glitter-drenched horse in a full rainbow skirt. It’s fabulous. It’s historic. And it’s exactly the kind of icon energy we live for.
This isn’t just a tee—it’s a limited, print-on-demand, wearable piece of art. A bold reminder that Kentucky has always been home to rule-breakers, trailblazers, and glitter-loving greatness.
These shirts are one-of-a-kind collector’s piece. No mass production. No fast fashion. Just bold love and local talent on every thread.
Grab yours, wear it loud, and show the world that Kentucky Pride runs deep, weird, and wildly creative.
