This Friday, April 22, at 10 a.m. we're launching a limited quantity of new kick-ass mugs handcrafted by local Lexington potter David Kring! These mugs pay tribute to Kentuckian Hunter S. Thompson and his infamous article "The Kentucky Derby is Decadent and Depraved". Just in time to get you pumped up for the Derby season, y'all!
Each mug is handmade by ceramics artist David Kring in his Lexington studio, and features a quote from the famous article — "The rest of that day blurs into madness." Some folks might also relate this quote to their everyday lives, especially after the coffee pot is empty. Am I right?
